I am an award-winning writer, editor, and content strategist. My many varied interests—food and nutrition, health, technology, travel, music, and film—have led me in my pursuits, from traveling and exploring new places whenever possible to contributing articles, an editorial eye, and occasionally photographs to an array of publications and immersing myself in the subject matter every time.
In 2015 I joined the team of an amazing nonprofit, FoodCorps, a national organization that works with communities to connect kids to healthy food in schools. As Development and Communications Writer, I support our External Affairs team writing grant proposals and reports, contributing to communications content, and getting to know some wonderful, dedicated people in this sector. I’m also a freelance writer and editor, with 10 years of professional experience and more than five years covering the food industry.
Born in Budapest, Hungary, I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. I earned a master of arts degree in journalism at Syracuse University’s SI Newhouse School of Public Communications, after completing my bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of California, Irvine. I currently live in Brooklyn, New York.
